Construction steel: 20mm HRB400 rebar averaged at 3,194 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 1 yuan/t from previous trading day.

Medium plate: 20mm Q235 medium plate price averaged at 3,373 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 1 yuan/t from previous trading day.

HRC: 5.75mm Q235 HRC average price was 3,276 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 1 yuan/t from previous trading day.

CRC: Average price of 1.0mm SPCC CRC was 3,790 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 1 yuan/t from previous trading day.

Ex-works price of steel billet in Qian’an rose by 10 yuan to 2,920 yuan/t on March 5. Spot resources were priced 2,990 yuan/t, up 10 yuan/t. Transactions for direct-shipped resources were moderate, while trading activity among traders remained active. Downstream rolling mills purchased billets based on immediate needs, and social inventories continued to increase. Overall, billet prices are expected to remain relatively stable in the short term.
